"Pay for money" is so simple yet so deep. In Saito, money signed into fees becomes data propagation throughout the network (even before a block is produced - speeding up consensus when one is). Pay for that money, and you pay for scale. Other chains pay for blocks, not money.

To me, SAITO is perfect. The only thing lacking is recognition & urgency to fix these issues - people are comfortable with what they have until it starts to fail & that can take time. Can’t see how it’ll be appreciated until more cracks start to show.
